Professor Zubarevich will tell us how the Russian economy is coping in the present difficult situation.  She will talk about how different industries in specific Russian regions are coping with the current crisis, and what changes there have been in investment. She will also consider the government’s social policies and how people are coping with the new realities, their changing approach to consumption and their strategies for dealing with the current economic constraints on a day-to-day basis. Professor Zubarevich will also consider the Russian economy’s future prospects and whether it can grow in present conditions.
